Toyota Recalls 6.4 Million Vehicles Globally
TOKYO (AP) — Toyota is recalling 6.39 million vehicles globally for a variety of problems spanning nearly 30 models in Japan, the U.S., Europe and other places.
No injuries or crashes have been reported that are related to the recalls, but there've been two fires connected to a defective engine starter.
Twenty-seven Toyota models are being recalled, as well as the Pontiac Vibe and Subaru Trezia, made in conjunction with Toyota.
