Two Acadiana Sex Offenders Being Sought
Officials with Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers say they are looking for two sex offenders who are not following the rules.
When you are put on the Sex Offender Registry, Louisiana law requires that you make sure that registration is up to date with your address, and you must also notify you neighbors of your status.
Acadia Parish deputies are looking for 43-year-old Edward Mott for Failure to Provide Community Notifications as a Convicted Sex Offender.
Police describe Mott as being a black male, who is 6'2" tall and weights 160 pounds. The man is said to have black hair and brown eyes.
Mott was last known to be living in Crowley at 129 Martha Lane, Lot B.
The second man police are looking for is 35-year-old Martelle Mouton who is wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and Failure to Notify of Change of Address.
Deputies describe Mouton as a black male who is six feet tall and weighs 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address was at 127 Public Road in Rayne.
