Two People From Eunice Arrested After Alleged Battery

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says following an investigation into a June 29 incident, two people from Eunice have been arrested.

Officials were called out to the 300 block of Carl Lower Road in Eunice last month after police received a report of possible child abuse at the home.

While few details of the investigation have been given, 25-year-old Robert Boulet was arrested on the following charges:

• Three counts of aggravated battery
• One count of simple battery

Also arrested as part of the case was 32-year-old Brandi Boulet.  She was charged with the following:

• Three counts of principle to aggravated battery
• One count of principle to simple battery
