The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns moved up a few notches in the latest ESPN College Football Power Index, which was released on Sunday.

Louisiana is up seven spots, to #36, in this week's ESPN Power Index.

This marks the 9th time in the last 11 weeks that the Cajuns have either climbed or remained the same in the Power Index.

UL defeated Troy, 53-3, last Saturday, to improve to 9-2, overall, and 6-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, clinching a spot for the second-straight year in the Sun Belt Conference title game.

The Cajuns, who have won 9 of their last 10 games, return to action on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm, wrapping up their 2019 regular-season schedule, when they play host to the ULM Warhawks in a Sun Belt Conference affair at Cajun Field.

The Power Index still projects Louisiana to win 10 games this season and ranks their remaining schedule as one of the easiest, listing it at #124 among 130 FBS schools.

Ohio St. is ranked atop the ESPN Power Index, with Clemson, Alabama, LSU, and Georgia.

Louisiana is the highest-rated school from the Sun Belt Conference, with Appalachian St. right behind them, at #41.
