UL Softball Team Smokes Reigning Champs 6-0

The UL Ragin' Cajun softball team came out swinging hard and it paid off as they took home the first win in the NCAA Super Regional in Tempe Arizona against the reigning champions, the Arizona Sun Devils.

The best-of-3 series continues tonight starting 8pm CST, 6pm local time in Arizona.

If the Cajuns win the game tonight, it means that they will be in the NCAA Softball World Series which will take place May 31st through June 6th, if necessary.

This will be the first time the Cajuns have participated the World Series since 2008

The World Series will be a mash up of the eight best teams from around the nation.

The game tonight will be on ESPN2 and ESPN3, the online streaming service.
