Vermilion River Bridge to Close for 8 Days Beginning November 4

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that the Vermilion River Bridge in Perry will be closing for 8 days.

The work on the bridge (Highway 82 @ Vermilion River) will include mechanical and electrical repairs.

LA 82 at the Vermilion River Bridge in Perry will be closed continuously to vehicular traffic beginning Wednesday, November 4 at 7:00 a.m. until Thursday, November 12 at 5 p.m., for electrical and mechanical repairs.

The detour will consist of LA 694, LA 335, LA 14, US 167, LA 3267. The detour route will be posted. - LA DOTD
