Vitter And Landrieu Introduce Gulf Coast Restoration Bill
Louisiana's two U.S. senators introduced legislation yesterday that would dedicate 80-percent of the funds collected from penalties assessed because of the BP oil spill to Gulf Coast restoration. The fine assessed because of violations of the Clean Water Act could exceed 21-billion-dollars.
