After some bitterly cold days and nights, Louisiana is going to warm up a bit. After a spell of bitterly cold temperatures, and some hard freezes, some warmer weather is returning to Louisiana. State Climatologist Barry Keim says prevailing winds are shifting to easterly and southeasterly. Keim says we can expect warmer temperatures and nice weather through the weekend. Keim says, while it will still be cool, the temperatures will be more in the normal range for this time of year--at least for a while.
