What Will Iberia Parish Accept on Waste Collection Day?

New Iberia, LA (KPEL News) - Iberia Parish Government will hold their semi-annual household waste day this weekend in New Iberia, Louisiana.

The list of items they will accept is fairly extensive, but they have also provided a list of things they cannot take. For instance, residents are welcome to bring latex-based paint, but they won't collect stains or oil-based paints. Also, paint must be labeled and in closed containers. Officials will be set up in the rear Courthouse parking lot on the corner of Pershing and Providence Streets on Saturday, October 21, from 9 am to noon.

The collection event is open to Iberia Parish residents only, so bring your ID. They won't accept any commercial waste.
