So tomorrow night, it is estimated that the Powerball lottery jackpot will be a record 425 million dollars.  Can you imagine what your life would really be like if you won that much money?  Would you lose it all?  Would you lose your mind, your honor, your family and friends?

Business insider dot com, has a story about ten jackpot winners, and how they lost all their money.  I don't think I would be that crazy, but who knows? Can you even for one second imagine that kind of money?  It's kind of hard to do.

I know the first thing I would do is find a lawyer that I could trust, and then I think I would really have to run away for a while with my close family until the attorney figures out what kind of set up I should have for all that money.

Would you worry about your friends and family?  I would.  I would do my best to really take care of, financially, all the people in my family who have always cared for me, but I bet some of the weirder and meaner people in my extended family would be ready to "extend" their hands right in front of me.  Would it be the same for you too?  It's amazing how money can bring out the best and worst in people.

I know I would donate to my church, UL, a variety of non-violence groups and really needy people, but I wonder how much security a millionaire needs after they win all that loot.  Do you have to be taken every place in a bullet-proof car with a bodyguard nicknamed "Hulk"? I mean many people would want to talk to you right?

And what happens to your true friends and that extended family.  I mean sure, I would help, but only the people who were already helping themselves by being productive members of society.  Would people you thought loved you, track you down, hassle you and demand that you give them money?

These are all good questions, and I bet one thing about tomorrow night....I'm not gonna win, so I don't have to answer these questions, but just in case, if Ken is alone on the air Thursday morning then........."greetings from Belize!"
