The inclement weather is forcing closures across Acadiana.

Lafayette Parish
Regular administrative services of Lafayette Consolidated Government will be suspended and LCG departments will be closed as of 3 p.m. Tuesday. Regular office hours are set to resume Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 8 a.m.
Lafayette Consolidated Government says there will be no Night Owl Bus Service tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department's Adult Men's Basketball Organizational Meeting has been rescheduled due to the weather. The Organizational Meeting will be rescheduled for Thursday, January 18. The meeting will take place at Girard Park at 7pm.
Bayou Vermilion District including Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park is closed today, as well as the activities throughout the village. As of now, the organization will re-open on Wednesday, January 17th.
Lafayette City Court is now closed today and ALL DAY Wednesday. All trial matters scheduled for Wednesday are cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date. The City Court will re-open at 8:30 AM on Thursday. for all scheduled matters.
All activities of Lafayette's First Baptist Church are cancelled today.
Gulf Coast Banks are closed
Vermilion Parish
The Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Administrative Offices is now closed in conjunction with the 15th Judicial District Courthouse. It will reopen on Wednesday, January 17, for regular business hours unless otherwise noted. If you need assistance, call the Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Patrol Division at 898-4402.
St. Mary Parish
The civil & administrative offices of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin and Morgan City is closed today beginning at 2 PM and will remain closed January 17.
