The offices of the Youngsville Police Department will be shut down until Monday, January 25 due to a COVID-19 outbreak according to reports.

According to the above report, a COVID-19 outbreak within the Youngsville Police Department building has caused the shut down that will be in effect until January 25, 2021.

The article also details a message from Chief of the Youngsville Police Department, Rickey Boudreaux, who said that officers will continue their work to keep the community safe. In case of emergency, calls should still be directed to 911 while non-emergencies should contact (337) 236-5899.
