18-wheeler Overturned on I-49 in Opelousas

Multiple KPEL listeners are letting us know that an 18-wheeler is overturned on I-49 Northbound just before the Harry Guilbeau exit (Exit 15). We are told the 18-wheeler is laying in the right lane of the interstate and the grassy area between I-49 and the service road. Traffic is moving in that area but authorities will need to move the 18-wheeler, which is expected to cause traffic delays in the area.

Please avoid that area if you can.
