2 Accused Criminals Featured On Crime Stoppers Now Behind Bars

The public comes through to help St. Landry Sheriff's deputies capture an accused criminal. The other accused criminal was already in jail in Calcasieu Parish.

PIO Major Eddie Thibodeaux says Murphy Guidry of Opelousas, a sex offender, is now behind bars after Crime Stoppers got a tip on his whereabouts, which led to him being arrested at a home.

Also, Christopher Duplechian of Oberlin, accused of breaking a window and stealing a cash drawer from McGee's Equipment Sales, is now sitting in jail after detectives learned he had been booked into the Calcasieu Parish Jail. Duplechian, who also allegedly stole a Side by Side ATV and sold it at an auction, defrauding the buyer out of $2,500.
