25-year-old Antre Joseph, 21-year-old Javontrae Richard, and 22-year-old Bazil Lancelin were arrested on Sunday afternoon after leading Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies on a high-speed pursuit.

Deputies say they were trying to pull the trio over for traffic violations. But Joseph, the driver, allegedly ended up leading them on a chase at speeds up to 90 mph. The trio's vehicle was stopped after ten minutes when deputies used the PIT maneuver on Bayou Side Road, where the vehicle spun out in a cane field. Deputies later captured the men after they allegedly tried to hide in the cane field.

Deputies recovered marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, a loaded firearm and more than $2,000 from inside the vehicle. Deputies also recovered two loaded firearms that the passengers allegedly threw from the vehicle during the pursuit.

The three were booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges ranging from Possession with The Intent to Distribute Illegal Narcotics, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, Flight from an Officer, and various traffic violations. No bond has been set at this time.
