Get ready for a spicy blast from the Cajun past.

Back in 1988, Braxton Moody IV established the iconic Burger Tyme ™ restaurant—most known for being the home original Cajun Blaze ™. The burger quickly became one of the area's greatest of all time and people still talk about it to this day.

Well, to the people who still long for the Cajun Blaze ™, you are in luck because Burger Tyme is teaming up with the Acadian Superette to present the first-ever Cajun Blaze Pop-up.

The legendary restaurant will be teaming up with the Acadian Superette to offer the authentic Cajun Blaze hamburger and fries for sale on May 9th. What's great about this weekend is that it is Mother's Day weekend and (hopefully) the final weekend before we see the governor's stay-at-home mandate lifted with new COVID-19 guidelines that will allow the economy to slowly open back up.

Cajun Blaze seasoning will also be available at the pop-up along with the Superette's regular menu. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the burgers and fries will be sold until 8 p.m. or until supplies run out (which will probably happen, so get there sooner than later).

Their press release suggests pre-ordering your burger and fries (more info will be available on how here) and due to COVID-19 restrictions, orders will be take-out only.

Acadian Superette is located at 600 Lamar Street and for more information you can call 337-534-4406 or hop on over to this post on the official Burger Tyme website.
