Agencies Revive Public Appeal To Help Find Keiosha Felix
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children are trying to locate an Acadiana teen who has been missing for more than 5 years now.
Duson teen Keiosha Felix was first reported missing on April 30, 2012. At the time, she was 15-years-old. Now, a month after her 20th birthday, Felix is still missing.
Law enforcement agencies are attempting to create more visibility on this case to hopefully uncover any new leads to close this case and return the young woman to her family.
Felix is described as a black female with brown hair, brown eyes, standing 5-feet tall, weighing 120 pounds.
Authorities say she may still be in the Acadiana area, but may also be in Baton Rouge or Houston. She may be in the company of an adult male or adult female.
An age-progressed photo of Felix was developed to give a better idea of what she may look like now-five years after her disappearance.
There have been many twists in this case as law enforcement and Felix's family have strived to return the teen to Acadiana. In one instance, the lead investigator in the case was fired from the Duson Police Department.
Police were able to make a couple of arrests related to the case, but did not develop definitive leads towards the missing teen's whereabouts.
