Arrest Made In Fatal Stabbing In Ville Platte

25-year-old Jessica Williams of Ville Platte has been booked into the Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office jail after a domestic disturbance turned deadly at a home in Ville Platte on Thursday.

Ville Platte Police say she’s being charged with negligent homicide. Police Chief Neal Lartigue says the male victim may have died because of a stab wound he received during the incident, according to our news partners at KATC.

Williams bond has been set at $125,000.00.
