Two issues have been on the mind of Iberia Parish State Representative Beau Beaullieu: the state's shrinking unemployment trust fund and how Louisiana will vote in November. The state will have to borrow money in the next few weeks to cover the unemployment claims that are projected. Beaullieu also said he's keeping an eye on changes to the way voters will go to the polls in November. Just last week, Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin issued a state of emergency ahead of elections. However, Beaullieu said it will not be as restrictive as the July elections.
