Bridge Closing 2 Weeks For Emergency Repair

The Lajaunie Road Bridge crossing Bayou St. Clair Lateral 1 has been closed immediately by the DOTD because of the structural deficiency of the timber piles. Officials say the bridge repair work is expected to take approximately two weeks. Detour routes will be made available.
