Carencro Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges

CARENCRO, La. (KPEL) -- The Louisiana Attorney General's Office announced Thursday the arrest of a Carencro man for allegedly sharing child pornography on the internet.

According to KATC TV-3, 29-year-old Jose Alvarado-Arellano was arrested on three counts of distribution of child pornography.

Alvarado-Arellano was arrested after an undercover online investigation, the KATC reported reported, and he admitted to sheriff's deputies that he viewed the materials.

Alvarado-Arellano is in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a $60,000 bond.
