UPDATE: More Details Released On Chase Bank Robbery
Lafayette Police have released more details about the robbery.
Sgt. Kyle Soirez said police responded to the Chase Bank at 800 W. Pinhook Rd. around 11:50 a.m.
Soirez said a black male suspect entered the bank armed with a silver-colored firearm. He demanded money from employees. He then fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as being tall, with a thin build. The suspect was wearing light blue pants, dark colored shirt, light blue head covering and a white cloth covering his face.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information concerning this incident is urged to contact Lafayette Police or Crimestoppers 232-TIPS (8477).
