Crowley Motorcyclist Dies from Monday Crash

78-year-old Ronald Lawson of Crowley is dead after injuries from a crash on LA Hwy 365 near Heinen Road in Acadia Parish on Monday took his life.

La. State Police Trooper Thomas Gossen says Lawson was ejected off of his Harley after he went off a curve and crashed into a ditch around 10:30 a.m. on Monday.

Lawson was wearing a DOT approved helmet and impairment is not suspected, but standard toxicology samples are being analyzed as officers continue to investigate the crash.
