Local officials from across Lafayette and Acadiana will be at a campaign rally for Republican Governor David Vitter on Saturday at Pamplona on 631 Johnston Street in Lafayette.

Lafayette City-Parish Joey Durel, Sen. Elbert Guillory, Rep. Nancy Landry, Rep. Blake Miguez, Rep. Bob Hensgens, Rep. Elect Phillip Devillier, Councilman Don Bertrand, City Marshall Brian Pope, BESE Member Holly Boffy, Crimefighters of Louisiana President Irv Magri, and School Board Members Jeremy Hidalgo, Justin Centanni, and Erik Knezek will all be at the rally in support of Vitter, who is in a perceived uphill battle against Democrat John Bel Edwards for the Louisiana governorship.

The rally in Lafayette is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.

Before that, there will also be a rally for Vitter at Wyndham Garden in Shreveport at 11:00 a.m. Attending that rally in support of Vitter will be U.S. Congressman John Fleming, Rep.
