Dining on the Diamond is this Saturday, January 11th at the Hilton DoubleTree in Lafayette.  The event is hosted by the Ross Granger Memorial Fund, which was created in memory of 19-year-old Erath High baseball player, Ross Granger.  The Granger’s started the memorial fund after their son, Ross, passed away in November of 2016. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in May of 2015. One of his wishes was to help local Acadiana high school students with scholarships to attend college, and that is exactly what inspired the Memorial Fund.  There have already been six scholarships awarded this year and those recipients will be accepting their awards at the dinner.
