Domestic Violence Charge Leveled Against Former Iberia Parish Bailiff

41-year-old Francine Romero, a bailiff working for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, has been arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Battery.

The Sheriff's Office says Romero has been terminated, according to our news partners at KATC.

Romero was arrested and booked into the Iberia Parish prison over the weekend. She's been released after posting $2,500 bond.
