Downtown’s Comprehensive Plan

Downtown Lafayette Executive Director Cathy Webre and Lafayette Comprehensive Plan Project Manager Cathy Gilbert stopped by "Mornings with Ken and Bernie" today for our weekly "Lafayette Live Segment".

The pair was here to discuss the approaching Downtown Open House, an event intended to allow the public to learn more and get involved with the Downtown Comprehensive plan.

The Downtown Open House will take place at the Acadiana Center for the Arts building on August 14, between 11am and 4pm.

The Downtown Development Authority would love for you to stop by and meet with the project consultants to discuss key Downtown issues.

The Framework Plan is meant to deliver the vision needed to guide the future development and redevelopment of Downtown Lafayette.

Cathy Webre described the event,

This is the first opportunity for the public as a whole to stop by and discuss and share their ideas, things they'd like to see happen, or needs that need to be fulfilled.
