Edwards Details Failure In The Legislature During Special Session

Governor John Bel Edwards was headed into a meeting with lawmakers the day after the special fiscal session ended in Baton Rouge. A deal was not made to pass a balanced budget. Both sides are pointing fingers after the failure, but the Governor maintains that he did everything to help foster a deal.

He joined Acadiana's Morning News with Rob Kirkpatrick and Bernadette Lee to discuss the breakdown in efforts by lawmakers.

Governor Edwards updated the state after the session ended on Monday.
