‘Final Destination’ Franchise getting reinvented by ‘Saw’ writers
Everyone knows the Final Destination stories. And it's probably why the majority of us won't drive behind a log truck, refuse to lie in a tanning bed, or become slightly wary when swimming around a pool filter.
Regardless of if you like this sometimes over-the-top series portraying the many ways the characters try to cheat death, the impact that these movies have had on horror fans is too great to ignore.
It seemed like only a matter of time before this horror movie classic got its newly found time in the spotlight.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Final Destination 6 is in the making with none other than Saw writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan in charge of the script.
It's still too soon to tell what direction the writers will take with the franchise, but I am certain it will include an increased amount of gore and intricate forms of death.
