Firecracker Blamed For Blast At Opelousas High School

A reported explosion at Opelousas High School is being blamed on a firecracker in a restroom. The State Fire Marshall has cleared the scene and 4 students were reportedly detained by local authorities. Students had been evacuated from the school. No injuries have been reported.
