Five Arrested After Drug Bust In Vermilion Parish

The Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force and Abbeville Police executed a search warrant at 1310 Maude Avenue in Abbeville on Monday.

Five people have been arrested in Kaplan and Abbeville.

The five suspects were identified during the investigation by the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division, and each was located and subsequently arrested.

Multiple drug charges are alleged against the five persons, including possession of narcotics, controlled dangerous substances – with intent to distribute – exposing juveniles to drug activity, and possession of firearms.
