Franklin Woman Arrested In Connection To Murder Case

The Franklin Police Department is reporting that they made an arrest last week in connection to the murder of a 16-year-old.

The investigation started in October of 2016 when police were called out to investigate shots being fire on Augustine Maze Road.

When police got to the scene, the found the 16-year-old dead at the scene.

Police have arrested 26-year-old Raquel Matthews on a charge of accessory after the fact to first degree murder.

Investigators say charges stem from allegations that Matthews disposed of evidence that was connected to the murder case.
