Fundraiser at Neyland Park Looks to Send Local All-Star Team to Texas

SLYSI Baseball Coach and local veterinarian Dr. Marc Bordelon joins Brandon Comeaux and Shannon Wilkerson to tell you about a great fundraiser happening Sunday, July 22 at Neyland Park on 1919 Eraste Landry Road in Lafayette.

In order to help the Mustang All-Stars get to Deer Park, Texas, to compete at a higher level, Coach Marc and the team will host baseball competitions and will, appropriately, be showing the movie "The Sandlot."

Citing how much he and the parents want the children to learn the value of working hard for what they want (money to pay for the travel expenses), Coach Marc says they will be selling concessions.

Tickets are $5.00 per person.
