GM Excited to Bring Fun of Dave & Buster's to Lafayette, LA

LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL News) - The Grand Opening of Dave & Buster's Lafayette location, the second Dave & Buster's to open in Louisiana, is right around the corner and its General Manager is excited to bring the D & B fun to the Hub City area.

Jeremy Lynch joined Brandon Comeaux and Tracy Wirtz of "Acadiana's Morning News" to discuss not only their November 27th opening, as reported by KPEL News, but the 160 jobs available to potential workers. Lynch comes to the Lafayette area with over a decade of experience with D & B. Lynch has spent time working at D & B locations in Hollywood, Florida; the Charlotte area of North Carolina (Pineville and Concord Mills); and Richmond, Virginia.

It's a homecoming of sorts for the Lynch family as Jeremy revealed his wife graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Even though he's worked across the country, Jeremy says there is no place like Lafayette and that his family jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Lafayette.

“We are thrilled to open the first Dave & Buster’s location in Lafayette,” says General Manager Jeremy Lynch. “As Lafayette's newest entertainment attraction, Dave & Buster's provides its employees a unique, fun-filled work environment, working alongside passionate teammates that are dedicated to providing a top-tier experience where guests eat, drink, play, and watch - all under one roof.”

The new 22,000 square-foot entertainment and restaurant hub will be located in Ambassador Town Center at 201 Spring Farm Road.

That "top-tier experience" includes over 100 of the latest arcade games, a chef-crafted food menu, innovative drinks, and a state-of-the-art sports bar featuring a 40-foot “WOW” Wall high-definition TV screen for an "unrivaled viewing experience."

There is only one other Dave & Buster's location in Louisiana: on Poydras Street in New Orleans. As reported by KPEL News earlier this year, a few other business coming to the area known as the Costco Development include:
