This is not a drill.

Disney+ has officially announced on Twitter that throwback Disney Channel Show Lizzie McGuire will be returning on its new streaming service starting in November.

In talks about a possibility of a reboot on the new service, Hilary Duff told Entertainment Tonight:

I mean I love her so much ... I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them again at this age, I think that would be amazing."

It is unclear whether original Lizzie McGuire stars will return for the reboot. But we do have a basic plot.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the new Lizzie McGuire will focus on Lizzie as a 30-year-old millennial trying to navigate life in New York City.

Original series creator Terri Minksy will serve as the show's frontrunner.

The new Lizzie McGuire will join the ranks of new releases on Disney+ like several Star Wars live-action series, MCU TV spin-offs, a High School Musical Spin-off, and plenty others.

Disney+ will launch in the U.S. on November 12.
