KATC reports all lanes of I-10 are closed between mile markers 69 and 97 in the Scott area after an 18-wheeler crash involving several other vehicles.
An eyewitness tells KPEL News that at least one person looked to be unresponsive on the scene of the crash. Local media reports also state the truck may be carrying hazardous materials. We are waiting for confirmation from Louisiana State Police on both of these details.
In the meantime, you are urged to take an alternate route. Highway 90 is backing up to the West according to drivers in the area. We will update the story as more information becomes available.
