As 2020 begins, the I-10 Road Widening Project continues.

The construction makes it a pain to travel down the interstate, but the roads are getting smoother and the hope is that the interstate will be much more navigable when it's all said and done.

Beginning Sunday, January 5 at 8:30 PM, I-10 on the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge from Mile Marker 117 in St. Martin Parish to Mile Marker 141 (Grosse Tete) in Iberville Parish will have alternating lane and shoulder closures as DOTD workers perform bridge joint and barrier rail repairs. This will last until Sunday, January 12 at 7 AM.

The entrance and exit ramps will be open to traffic.
