I-10 Widening Project Continues In Lafayette & St. Martin Parishes

Beginning Sunday, January 27, there are at least two projects that will happen as part of the I-10 Widening Project that will happen - one in Lafayette Parish and one in St. Martin Parish.

LAFAYETTE PARISH

• Left lane of I-10 EASTBOUND from Francois Coulee Bridge to Louisiana Avenue Overpass will be closed NIGHTLY beginning at 8 PM Sunday until 6 AM Saturday (Jan. 27-Feb. 2), weather permitting.

• LA 328 (Rees Street) in both directions under the I-10 overpass will be closed NIGHTLY beginning at 8 PM Sunday until 6 AM Saturday (Jan. 27-Feb. 2), weather permitting.
• DETOUR FOR NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC:  I-10 EASTBOUND to LA 347 then I-10 WESTBOUND to LA 328 NORTH
• DETOUR FOR SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC: I-10 WESTBOUND to Louisiana Avenue then I-10 EASTBOUND to LA 328 SOUTH.

Both closures will allow work to be done on each overpass.
