I-10 Widening Project Continues On Atchafalaya Basin Bridge This Week

As part of the I-10 Widening Project, there will be alternating lane and shoulder closures happening in BOTH DIRECTIONS between MM 140 (Grosse Tete) to MM 136 (Ramah).

WESTBOUND CLOSURES

• Monday thru Friday (April 15-19) from 8:30 PM until 5:30 AM
• Friday thru Sunday (April 19-21) from 9 PM until 7 AM

EASTBOUND CLOSURES

• Monday thru Friday (April 15-19) from 8:30 PM until 5:30 AM
• Friday thru Sunday (April 19-21) from 9 PM until 7 AM

These closures are to allow DOTD crews to perform bridge joint repairs.

The entrance and exit ramps will be open to traffic.

Also, LA 347 (Grand Point Highway) in BOTH DIRECTIONS under the I-10 Overpass will be closed on Tuesday night from 11 PM until 6 AM Wednesday morning. DOTD workers will pouring a concrete deck on the LA 347 overpass. DETOUR FOR NORTHBOUND TRAFFIC: Take I-10 EASTBOUND to Exit 121 - LA 3177 (Butte La Rose) and then back on I-10 WESTBOUND to Exit 115 - LA 347 or continue on I-10 WESTBOUND. DETOUR FOR SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC: Take I-10 WESTBOUND to Exit 109 - LA 328 (Rees Street) in Breaux Bridge and then back on I-10 EASTBOUND to Exit 115 - LA 347 or continue on I-10 EASTBOUND.
