Iberia Parish Government Gets $1 Million FEMA Grant

Plans to storm-proof 16 government buildings in Iberia Parish are in the works. Parish President Ernest Freyou told the council Wednesday that the Iberia Parish Court annex building, City Hall, the Cliff Aucoin building and every parish fire department will receive new wind-damage-resistant windows and other enhancement work courtesy of a $1 million grant from FEMA.
