Louisiana Music Artist To Open Restaurant In Duson, Louisiana

How cool is this? Louisiana music artist Kevin Naquin is planning to open up a new restaurant in Duson, Louisiana. Naquin is known for his great traditional Cajun music and performing all over Louisiana and the United States. He has won countless Cajun French Music Association awards in his career.

On top of being a musician, Kevin Naquin also is a Lafayette's City-Parish Council member on top of having a full-time job. That boy is busy which tells us this guy is a real entrepreneur.

Well, now we can add restauranteur to his resume.  Naquin took to Facebook yesterday to announce the groundbreaking of his new restaurant that is happening today, December 19th, 2023. The new restaurant is called Naq's -N- Duson and they are breaking ground on it today.

Kevin Naquin announced it on social media saying,

I am excited to announce a New Adventure coming to Duson. I have been working on this for a long time and now it will become a reality. Join us tomorrow for the Groundbreaking of Naq’s N Duson, LA. The Former Thibodeaux’s Restaruant.  My family and I look forward to bringing a great establishment and new business to a growing town!!! We will have Daily Plate Lunches, Specialty Hamburgers, and Poboys, along with Boiled Crawfish- Shrimp- Crabs. You will also be able to pick up a Cold Beer, Daiquiri, Bloody Mary, and more.

 

It will be Drive thru, Call Ins and Pickup to start. If businesses does well, then will expand to add seating and area for live music. I am excited and nervous at same time…lol. Praying God and public will bless and welcome our business!!

Kevin is a good friend of ours and we have been supporting him and his music since he released his first album on cassette. We look forward to Kevin's place opening and hopefully for it to grow into seating and live music. We know Kevin wouldn't have it any other way. Congrat Naq!
