Louisiana Police Department Apprehend The ‘Meat Bandits’
(Slidell, Louisiana) - Police in southeast Louisiana arrested thieves who allegedly stole from a Walmart store, and by the looks of it, the thieves were ready for a cookout.
The Slidell Police Department posted photos of items allegedly stolen earlier this month from Walmart. As you can see, a large quantity of meat was taken from the store. It appears the thieves also needed socks and batteries.
According to a viral social media post from the police agency, thieves took steaks, oxtail, salmon, and crab meat from the store but did not get far before exiting with the products they had not paid for.
Walmart notified police, who responded quickly. As soon as they located the getaway vehicle near the store, the suspects were taken into custody. Let me note that this is not the first time we have seen this police agency arrest suspects for stealing a large quantity of meat.
We're not sure what plans the thieves had on this day, but the quick response by the police certainly ruined whatever cookout they were planning.
Here's a look at what thieves allegedly took from the Walmart store in Slidelll.
Now, let's look back to when the same responding agency conducted this traffic stop and found another large quantity of stolen meat. Remember this story from earlier this year?
