(Lafayette, Louisiana) - Bars and stores in Acadiana are known for stocking up on various alcoholic drinks, and now they are having trouble finding one brand in the coolers.

It seems like each summer, a new alcoholic brand is introduced to consumers, and this year it's a drink called "Super Lyte."

The vodka-infused drink contains only 90 calories, zero sugar, and has no bubbles. However, that doesn't appear to be what's attracting so many to this brand this summer.

The canned cocktail, which comes in flavors like Blue Chill, Lemon Lime, Orange, and Fruit Punch, tastes very much like your favorite sports drink. Yes, "Super Lyte" can be that dangerous because it tastes so good.

As word has spread about this new drink, many are rushing to stores to buy it, but stores and bars are having trouble keeping Super Lyte in stock. A worker at a local grocery store told me that as soon as they get a few cases in stock, they're gone that fast.

I also spoke with a few bartenders a few weeks ago, and both of them at separate locations said it is the number one seller behind their bars when they have it in stock.

One bar told me they ordered nearly 50 cases one week, but all they received was 15-16 cases because the brand supplying the drinks can't keep up with demand. The drinks are so good that someone I know, who isn't a fan of seltzers, says this is by far her favorite go-to this summer after a long day at work.

So, if you are a fan of this vodka-infused drink and you can't seem to find it in stores, you aren't alone; the demand is that high for it in Acadiana.

The good news is that Super Lyte's supplier has ramped up production, and I am seeing it in more stores and bars. In fact, while I was out at a local bar this past weekend, I did an informal survey, and it appeared that every other person had one of the flavors in their hand.

Disclaimer: because these drinks are so 'refreshing" and you don't really taste the vodka in them, you may consume more than you normally would, so pace yourself while enjoying one or two at home.

Football season is almost here, and fans will soon be running to their favorite sports bars in Acadiana, so we asked: Where can fans find the coldest draft beer?

There are so many great local restaurants and sports bars that serve up not only delicious food but cold beer as well, so we asked listeners on social media: Who truly has the coldest draft beer in our area?

Football fans are passionate about several things, and one is finding a great place to watch a game, but that comes with a few requirements. I have friends who insist that we watch games at certain places because of their television setup, and yes, the selection of beers.

So, let's take a look at where some of you said the coldest beer in Acadiana is.
