Natorius “Torry” Brown, known as DJ T Gutta, reportedly took his own life after fatally shooting his wife in Powder Springs, Georgia. The incident occurred on June 9, and the news has shocked fans and many in the music community.

Cobb County police were called to the scene, where they found both Brown and his wife, Kalisha Seddens-Dunn, with gunshot wounds. Seddens-Dunn was pronounced dead at the scene, while Brown was transported to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in critical condition, where he later died.

In the hours leading up to the murder-suicide, Brown took to Facebook to unleash a scathing NSFW critique of his former employer, Louisiana rapper Webster “Webbie” Gradney Jr. Brown's lengthy post painted a frustrating picture of his experience working with Webbie, describing it as “a living hell.” He accused Webbie of refusing to pay him, hindering his professional growth, and subjecting him to unbearable working conditions.

“DJing for Webbie is a living hell! He doesn’t want to pay, doesn’t want to see anyone around him shine,” Brown wrote. He further detailed how he was forced to take on multiple roles beyond his DJ duties, including acting as a driver, security, PR, and even a counselor. Despite his dedication, Brown felt unappreciated and exploited.

Webbie, a Baton Rouge native, is renowned for hits such as “Independent” featuring Lil Boosie and Lil Phat, and “Gimme That” featuring Bun B. Brown, who would have celebrated his 39th birthday on June 24, had made a name for himself through his mixtape series “Let’s Do It Den” and collaborations with various artists including Rich Boy, Plies, and Chingy.

The couple’s three children are now dealing with the loss of both parents. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and we will update this story if any new information develops.
