The Shreveport Police Department has obtained arrest warrants following a viral confrontation at a Louisiana Mardi Gras parade that drew national attention online.

Police say the altercation happened Saturday, February 7, around 4 p.m. in the 2200 block of Clyde Fant Memorial Parkway during the Krewe of Centaur parade in Shreveport.

Woman Identified In Investigation

Investigators reviewed widely shared video and witness statements before identifying the suspect as Georgee Creamer.

According to police, Creamer allegedly used loud and profane language in a public area before throwing a cup containing liquid. Authorities say the liquid struck an adult woman described as a grandmother, as well as a small child who was attending the parade.

Warrants have been issued for Disturbing the Peace and Simple Battery, both misdemeanor charges.

Public Help Requested

Shreveport Police say they are working to locate Creamer.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 318 673 7300 or reach out to Caddo Crime Stoppers.
