Jan Scott Richard Is Ready To Work Hard For Scott

Last week, Scott resident Jan Scott Richard, took the oath of office to become the city's mayor.

He told Kpel that while he enjoyed surving the people of Scott in his other capacities, he was ready to take on the challenge now of leading the city into the future.

Richard spoke with Bernadette Lee on a Saturday episode of "Up Close" to talk about his life, his dreams for the city of Scott and what he hopes to leave behind for his children.
