Jeanerette Man Arrested For Domestic Abuse Battery Charges

A Jeanerette man was arrested last night on a warrant for domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse battery/child endangerment.

A deputy was called out to the 100 block of Fortier Circle to investigate a separate complaint when they discovered the outstanding warrant for 32-year-old Credrick Alexander.

The warrant was issued after an October event.

The deputy who investigated that complaint explains that a juvenile in the home called police when Alexander allegedly grabbed and pushed a woman who was there.

When police went to investigate, Alexander had already left.

He was arrested last night.
