Jeep Show & Shine & Chili Cookoff February 1st

The 6th Annual Jeep Show & Shine and Chili Cook-Off is taking place on February 1st, 2020.

The annual event is a fundraiser for the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA), an organization that provides support, education, and hope to all affected by the pain and disability of CRPS/RSD, while driving research to develop better treatments and a cure.

According to WebMD:

Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy is a disorder that causes lasting pain, usually in an arm or leg, and it shows up after an injury, stroke, or even heart attack. But the severity of pain is typically worse than the original injury itself. -WebMD

The Chili Cook-off and Jeep Show and Shine will be held at Cajun Harley-Davidson in Scott on February 1st from 10 AM - 3 PM.

Entertainment includes the band Karmic Soul, followed by a performance by Kip Sonnier. The event will also feature a live and silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and Wheel Barrow of Booze auction/raffle. Oh, there will be lots of Jeeps there, too!

Entry to the event is free. If you'd like to enjoy some of the chili that was entered into the contest, a $5 wristband will get you all-you-care-to-eat (while supplies last, of course).

100% of proceeds go to RSDSA.
