John Deer Zero Turn Mower Stolen from Lawtell Owner’s Shop

St. Landry Parish Sheriff's deputies need your help trying to figure out who stole a 2015 John Deere Zero Turn mower from a Lawtell woman's shop last weekend, as well as where the mower is.

Spokesman Deputy Chief Eddie Thibodeaux says the incident happened on January 16th on Jim Guillory Road. The green and yellow mower (model Z915B) is valued at over $7,000.00.

Deputies say the suspect(s) may have used a self-assisted walker found in the backyard underneath a security light attached to the home to disable the security light during the burglary, which authorities believe happened sometime between the late afternoon of January 14 and mid-morning January 15, 2021.
