Lafayette High Hosting Fund Raiser For Accident Victims

A fundraiser is being held at Lafayette Senior High this Friday, February 21, 2014 for victims of this weekend's school bus/SUV crash that claimed four lives.

Killed in the accident when the SUV had a tire blow-out and crashed into a Lafayette Parish school bus were 36-year-old LaDonna Cheatam, 6-year-old Destiny Cheatham, 14-year-old Dwayne Escort and 16 year old Marcus Cheatam.

Checks should be made out to the 'Cheatem-Escort' fund and brought to Lafayette Senior High School on Congress Street this Friday or Monday, February 24, 2014. Students, school employees and the general public or asked to contribute a dollar or more.
